Community
Together in FAITH, we flourish!

On Sunday mornings after adult Sunday school, some of us gather at the Liverpool Diner for brunch. Please join us!

Are you or someone you know in need of prayer? Let us know and we will put you/them on our prayer list! Email us on our contact page.

When the Perry County Food Bank is in need of goods, we are happy to help out with donations from the congregation. Please feel free to donate when we are collecting. It will be posted on our home page.

The Community Ministerium Meals, which consists of 8 area churches, provides Easter and Thanksgiving meals for the area's elderly, sick or alone. The meals are prepared and picked up at Barner’s Church. The other area churches that also participate are; Liverpool United Methodist, Good Shepherd, St. Matthews, Reward, Salem, Dressler’s Ridge, and Turkey Valley. This tradition was started by Pastor James Beamer in 2000. Marlene Landis, the current meal planner, was there for the first meal and she is still making and delivering meals twenty-five years later! A few of the drivers have also been there the entire time.

In spring, we clean up trash from neighboring roads. We always welcome volunteers to help out! The trash pick-up date will be posted on our home page.

Trash bags, gloves, and high visibility vests are provided.

Two of our veterans, Bobby Gelnett and Jim Ulanoski, were recognized at Greenwood Elementary School in November 2024 at their Veteran’s Day program. Thank you to all veterans everywhere for your service!
